As all of our lamp shades and Ceiling shades are custom made, we hold no stock of finished items. We do however hold significant stock of raw materials that we believe cater for the majority of orders. This includes only the highest quality Powder Coated and Painted wire frames, an extensive range of the most suitable fabrics and trims, including Braids, Ropes, Ribbons, Tassels, Lace, Fringe, Beads, Pearls and Crystals etc. If you do not see a shade style of your choosing in this web site let us know, as we will probably be able to create it for you.

The largest cost component of the manufacture of a lamp shade is almost always the Labour, therefore the amount of detail and the time it takes to manufacture, plays a significant role in the selling price of a shade.

We are not in the low cost mass produced sector of the market, but we are conscious that our creations must be affordable to most customers. Let us show you the most economical way of achieving your design, whether it be a new shade or a strip and re-cover.

It is our policy to provide an obligation free written quotation with every job that we do; this way you get to see exactly what you are paying for, and it is for this reason that we do not publish a set price list. We will not start your job until you have approved the quotation and are 100% happy. This way no mistakes are made and you can be sure that you are getting exactly what you asked for. In addition, you will see our trading terms on the bottom of every quotation; we prefer to be up-front that way. And bye the way, as part of our good business practice we always provide an invoice and receipt as your proof of purchase and payment.

Once you have accepted our price in principle based on final fabric selection, we would be pleased to send you samples (no charge for the first set) of available fabrics from our stock that are closest to your requirements. This way there are no nasty surprises with fabric selection mistakes when you get the finished item.

To keep our prices affordable we have chosen not to employ outside sales staff to come to you, but instead we leave it to you to choose from examples in our photo gallery on this web site. The biggest benefit being that when you contact us you are actually speaking with those who make the shades, so you can be sure we know exactly what we are talking about. Our products speak for themselves and no phony sales pitch is necessary.
